He was great in this small part, but I kind of wish this could have been an existing minor character. An existing characterâs death would have had some meaning for a portion of the audience. It could have easily been someone from the Clone Wars era who knew the Jedi and worked with Luke after the war â Korkie Kryze, Lux Bonteri, someone like that.

When they first showed his Obi-Wan-looking character, I thought for sure he was a space wizard with a laser sword who was going to stick around for a while, at least as long as Qui-Gon Jinn did in TPM. Spoiler alert: I was wrong on all accounts. Very wrong.
