I live in a Tucson and found a young girl screaming and crying in the middle of my street. She was either in shock or drugged because she kept saying stuff about her mom and blood all over. I literally called 911 several times and they never showed up. I didn't want to put her in my car to take her to the hospital and be accused of kidnapping. Another lady like 2 hours later managed to get her in the car and take her to the hospital. I got a call 6 hours later from the cops wanting my info regarding her. This was a child, tell me how this is not a priority..and this was before all the riots and shortages on cops. I dont know what i would have done if the poor girl died due to whatever she was going through or on.

I live in Tucson. This is the direct result of 1. A shitty mayor and 2. An underfunded and vastly understaffed police force. At last check i believe TPD is operating at a 40% deficit.

I remember Pima county sheriffâs having a much faster response time, but itâs been almost 2 decades since my last encounter with them. As someone who lives there, itâs completely BS to say âother emergenciesâ. You know how often I see these guys parked blocking lanes in traffic for construction?? EVERY DAMN DAY!!!

Dude no Tucsons response time HORRIBLE. My mom called the cops when there was a break in while we were kids ..it was before midnight they didn't show up til the morning. My mom literally yelled at the cops saying what if my kids were injured

I donât live in Arizona but I have a similar story, I got hit on my bicycle and the driver sped off so I called 911 for help because I was hurt. The dispatch operator told me to call my county emergency services because the accident happened right along their border of jurisdiction. Instead of giving me a number or anything they just hung up so I called 911 again. As soon as I started talking the operator just sent me to hold and I gave up after that. Glad itâs a national issue!
