Yet we dont get all the games on broadcast, while someone in South Africa can watch all the premier league games for a fraction of the price.
Brilliant

PL got the best timezone to watch over the world. Like in La Liga for example sometimes it's 2am in the monday morning (SEA timezone). Either you don't sleep to watch that and sleep when 10 mins into the kickoff or you sleep first and put the alarm on but overslept 😂

It's good to see the Premier League learning from the errors made in the other leagues. Nurturing competitive mid-table teams benefits the entire league ecosystem. Inequality of revenues is how you destroy a league.

So the two most competitive leagues on average are the ones winning the most. I guess it kind of is a self fulfilling prophecy

Is the broadcasting revenue shared equally between the 20 premier league teams? Also how is it shared in other leagues?

PL just got lucky that the downfall scandals of Serie A happened at the same time they got stars like Ronaldo and Henry in the prem. And then when Ronaldo and Messi started leaving La Liga and Liga started their downfall, Pep Guardiola, Klopp, Mourinho all had joined the prem by then as long as other stars. Also paired with Dortmund downfall making the Bundesliga a one horse league and conversely, the rise of PSG making France a one horse race. The PL was way behind Serie A in its hay day before the scandal and were behind La Liga at Messi and Ronaldo’s prime. Also Prem have way more lenient rules on ownership, spending and roster contrusxtion than every other teams like La Liga who has a salary cap for every team and don’t allow foreign Americans or Arabs billionaires to own clubs. They are all fan clubs owned. Americans and Arabs own the PL, they are its daddies’. Sport doesn’t belong to the local fan anymore, not an England heritage anymore. They have more money and buy more stars but the football is still not top quality and they still routinely get slapped up in Europe and underperform in tournaments
