I keep asking why should I try to have a sleek down look when my natural hair is not naturally sleek. 1. It takes a lot of effort 2. It takes a lot of product 3. It places too much tension on the roots and strands which will eventually lead to breakage. Similar can happen when installing certain "protective stykes" that really are not protecting
