Great idea. I had just purchased wago connectors for future use instead of wire nuts and I think I will order the same kind you have now. Thanks for posting.
By the way; I just replaced my six year old Ring Pro doorbell with the Ring Pro 2 doorbell after watching your videos. I have been using Ring about the same time as you with the Ring Floodlight camera and I took the tip from you, after the round lens cover fell off my Ring floodlight about the same time as yours. I contacted Ring and they sent me a free floodlight replacement under the protect plus plan. It still works fine and have no need for the Floodlight Pro, but I sure like the Ring Pro 2 doorbell I have had for about three weeks now with the head to toe view. Long time viewer of you, since 2017 when you and I started using the Ring floodlight?

I personally wouldnât use Wagoâs in the lamp cable scenario as a permanent fix. They are great connectors but not strong enough imo to be safe long term, they can pull out if stepped on etc, they are really just for installation where little force is ever applied, like in walls or behind light switches. I personally think you really should be using a connector that clasps the outside cable as well, not just clips onto the inner core. Fine for a quick fix I guess đ
