I wonder how hot and dangerous is actually the curret bolt of the plasma pistols, we know covenant era burned plasma pistols at 3500°C (in the normal shot, overcharge probably was several times hotter), so expect that today they would have to be at least 5000°C to keep up.

They can no longer shut down vehicles and that killed the weapon for me personally

I like to think if there werent those safety features in place youd randomly see grunts just explode in a green plasma cloud like they do in CE when they have fuel rod guns lol
