Sometimes, when showing off, haha, to my siblings, I do whole body profile, soild black, and use eraser hhaa and, of course, fast making haa sort of reverse drawing

They actually just used to draw the male form/anatomy basically nude and used costuming coloration and designs as well as details to make them distinctive. It also lended to the idea that they fought crime in spandex or similar high stress elastic or body conforming materials

This is exactly how I think when I try to think about how I would go about designing DC characters like Batman being super bulky just doesn’t make sense to me or Superman being lean and ripped he should be a big boi lmao
