It isn't really a cake pop without the stick, it's more like something you'd find in a bespoke box of chocolates. It's more "chocolate cake truffle" than "cake pop". And unless this is a one bite treat, you're going to get into a bit of a mess whilst eating it.
I would have kept the stick but I would have drawn on it beforehand, to make it look like a bone, or better yet, the spine.
But it's still really cute π
