Her team should just tell her how to respond - as in āin South Africa, a person of mixed race is considered coloredā but I understand that that is considered a derogatory term for black Americans since that is an old saying of referring to that group of people. If I say I am not colored to please black Americans then Iām essentially acting as tho Iām trying to appear something that Iām not which would offend those back homeā
