The ABS Warning Lights can come on for trivial reasons such as a low 12V battery, or for something more serious like a failing ABS accumulator / ABS pump.
Before you reset the system, perform checks for diagnostic trouble codes using the OBD2 port, check the fuses under the hood and the braking components themselves.
Then use a paperclip or wire to short pins 4 and 13 on the OBD2 port and start the car and pump the brakes. When you restart the Prius, the lights will have cleared, but drive carefully to make sure the brakes are okay.

Thank you so much for explaining this well. It worked on our 2008 prius. I watched other videos that led me to sticking pins where the fuses are on the left side under the steering wheel but when i saw you put drivers right knee i found out i was putting them in the total wrong spot π BREAKS ARE BACK BABY
