Mixed media card making is easy with stamps + rubons

The Bird Song Collection I designed for 49andmarket was one of my favorites to design. I especially loved creating these botanical stems and perching birds on the different colored stems

And then the Bird Song Stamp/Die Pack I designed for Sizzix/49andmarket was an opportunity to bring all the script and type stamps that I have loved using in my digital designs for so many years now to such a versatile stash must have collection. I took the individual stamps on a larger acrylic block and created a bit of a collage. So you can make your arrangement different each time keeping each card design fresh

I used a thank you stamp that I had designed for Simple Stories a few years back as part of the Weathered Garden Stamp Pack

and then splattered some color using a watercolor crayon and a no.6 silver brush

mounted it on solid cardstock from the Bird Song Collection and called it done!

Simple as That!
