W Goat I agree with complexity but depth,parallels and Conflicts go to clementine
For depth I think it goes to clem for her closure of warmth after Killin lee she no longer had the same smile she had as a child there is a detail on her hat with blood stains on it which is Lee's she never took that hat off in the entire game and only decided it to let it go after her final goodbye with him which is Symbolism for her need in comfort zone and theme of self acceptance which she finally lets go of lee
Her Parallels with Sarah are also great because it highlights the difference in strength and will to live
One was constantly sheltered by her father figure which led her not being independent on herself when her father died she had no idea on what to do what she had which resulted into her death and Clem was taught to be dependent on herself which is how she survived for so long this is the theme of Perfection and imperfection
I won't talk about her Parallels with aj but I feel like Ellie has better Internal conflicts with the cycle pf hatred while Clem had better External Conflicts with aj as she was teaching him the lesson that the world isn't black and white and there can be happy days while Clem was taught the opposite to learn that the world isn't the same anymore then it used to be
I don't know I just feel like Clem and walking dead telltale character deserves much more praise for how well written they are ellie is a good character but I don't feel like she compares to Clem but I respect your opinion goat you are one of the few anime fans i can talk 2 about this game sorry for the yapping 2💀
