So with makeup/skincare some brands use animals to test on. They don't put it politely they put it in their eyes or mouth and make it horrendous. Some animals if they get it in their eyes they're eyes start swelling and some can barely see anymore. On the make up you'll get check at the back if it says animal tested or something like that, please don't use it because it causes pain on animals and some die from it.

So a little bit of a better explanation about this is that animal testing is used to check the products for humans and it’s typically on rats and sometimes beagles and they make the animal eat and absorb the product to test what it would do to humans and it’s not OK and you are right about it being checked on the back of the bottle. It will say PETA approved if it is Not animal tested but if it is animal tested, it won’t say anything but animal testing is a big deal so I don’t follow a lot of skin care brands because I don’t believe in animal testing I think it’s very wrong so I use some more offbrand skin care items mostly things that aren’t animal tested and I recommend anyone do the same cause there the same quality, but they don’t cause harm to animals
