Incredible song writer. Amazing how much detail he so effortlessly put into his songs. Elliott Smith is a coded name too. He was a smith, Metal worker. Guitar playing is a perfect example of metal working and the craft he was a master of. He wore that shirt that said I ❤metal, that was not by accident.
