No first of all they wouldn’t sign kikuchi and means two lefties to go with Steele and Shota at the top of that rotation with 4 lefty’s. Also Matt Shaw would play 2nd base if they were to move nico which I don’t think they would do as he adds amazing defense 30 stolen bases and a great bat to ball guy. I agree with trading tailon however no need to replace him with two lefties likes means and kikuchi rather a walker buehler or Nathan eovaldi. I wouldn’t hate to sign a first baseman but why Goldschmidt Busch had a much better year than him and is way younger and cheaper. I feel if they were to sign a first baseman it would be someone who is much better than Busch considering he has .770 ops and played gold glove defense as a 27 year old. Idk just my thoughts. Love the vids

Nico will be replaced by Matt Shaw. We will sit on Paredes @ 3B until Smith is ready in 26. You will still have Busch at 1st and Swanson at SS. Your catcher is Amaya until Ballesteros is up in 26. Cubs are favored to land Sasaki. You could still trade Bellinger and Happ and put Cassie in left, keep Pete in CF and Suzuki in right.
