The little mermaid, the original Hans Christen Anderson book is sad tale and she dies at the end. The Disney films are nothing like the real story, so while this may be dark and murderous and different from the Disney version, anyone who reads, knows the Disney version isn’t like the book, it’s not a happy story, it’s a tragedy.
