I did this to my copper pro press, impacts , knipex cobra plier handles , everything haha. You gotta use synthetic rit for knipex handles.

There’s a guy on YouTube who does this with chainsaws and he found dipping the molds into cold water every couple minutes improved how quickly the plastic turned black. Question for ya though, do you use just dye to the water or do you add other stuff?
