Theory time. We tarnished wake up and start our journey walking into a bright light. Yet when you notice the ground texture for that area our tarnished comes from before the church of anticipation is the same ground texture as the inside of the erdtree. I believe our tarnished is cursed with trying to fix the elden ring like a bad case if ground hogs day. All 6 endings we have now are failure states in which the world resets. However, i think the tarnished needs to collect every rune in the game, great rune, mending rune as well as kill all of the demigods. In the base game miquella is nowhere to be found. So in the base game when everyone tells you "you cannot become elden lord" is because you literally cant unless the world resets. Meaning there might actually be a 7th ending.
Im working towards finding out if there is a 7th ending by doing some really weird stuff. This is also assuming shadow of the erdtree is the last DLC or if theres more to come. If there is we might need to finish both DLC's before we even get to the forbidden lands. I have a feeling that miquellas needle is one of the most important aspects of achieving that final true ending of elden ring. Maybe we have to be touched by the frenzied flame and the three fingers at some point and use the needle to save melina. Idk theres just too mant questions. Too many questions
