Cancer and Chemotherapy does not own me.

Waking up, getting up during chemotherapy can be difficult some days.

Don’t let it own you! Take your life back as much as you can.

With or without chemotherapy, why not go for a walk. You owe it to yourself.

My chemotherapy treatment finishes next week (I can not wait!); however, in the midst of it all, I will get up, walking boots on! and treat myself to the great outdoors: come rain or shine.

A different (doorstep, lockdown restrictions permitting) park every time.

Chemotherapy finished in 2016; or so I thought; I never dreamt an unconnected @cancer could be added to my fight: however, when I thought 2020 couldn’t get any worse, checking my breast in October (#breastcancerawarenessmonth) unveiled my greatest fear. A grade 3 breast cancer. Lump removed, now in the middle of chemotherapy treatment - in lockdown!

Please check your breast, folks: I did, and thankfully I found it before it could spread further than one lymph node.
