Got one of the original 12 of this, too ( I worked closely with msi oc team back in the day). This is the Rare version one, before the redesign a couple month later, this version from Extreme LN2 OC perspective is actually rather limited in VRM capability because it has the similar VRM design as the 780 Non-Ti. The 'V2' got much more powerful VRM and new PCB, called the GTX 780 Ti MOA Edition.

I have the GTX 670 Power Edition, which you could overvolt. When I got it, it could hit insanely high clock speeds, but very quickly it degraded and couldn't overclock nearly as high and be stable. Still works tho.

There can be ways to repair it (like program that shows which memory chip died).
Try to send it to someone that has proper equipment, and you MAY see it work again :)

Beautiful card. I have the 780 lightning and the 980ti lightning. I had them on the mpower z77 msi board,I think it was the best colour combo ever. I'm getting them shadowbox framed to hang up in my office.

I got my HD 6970 Lightning still in the box and hardly used it. Was a beast back in the day. I also have a Sapphire TOXIC that's dead and just sits on the shelf to look at as a piece of tech art.
