You know, I just discovered something about myself. While most things in life has got music attached to it in my head, I've been to the beach so seldom I don't think I have any song that the beach reminds me of. I feel like I should try to find what a beach sounds like musically to me! Thank you for this inspiration!

Great place to be, enjoy! I would pick 'seventh wave' by Devin Townsend, 'la mer' by Claude Debussy, and ' Both tears and the sea are salty waters' by you ;)

Aside from Jimmy Buffett, the beach always reminds me of Ratt or Steelheart! Good time music for a good time place

Funny enough, I just finished listening to This Mortal Coil's cover of "Song to the Siren" right before clicking on this video, so that's the perfect answer to your question!

Many songs come to mind! “Coast” by Devin Townsend or “winter at the shore” by David Wilcox first come to mind

"Shout" by Tears for Fears, only because at the beach long ago all the boom boxes were tuned onto the same radio station. That song for some reason set up a powerful, resonant vibe across the wide open space. Even though the sonic aura was generally awesome that day, that song was transcendent.

Anytime several boom boxes in the same vicinity played the same thing, there was a special mix of phasing happening, as you walk through it, or the wind changes. My buddy always carried two excellent boxes to be sure that we'd always have some good "phasing" happening.
Dont hear multiple boom boxes anymore 😢

It’s not a song, but ‘Become Ocean’ and ‘Dark Waves’ by John Luther Adams are rather beautiful pieces of music

Jimmy Buffett A Pirate Looks at 40.
🎶 Mother, mother ocean
I have heard you call
Wanted to sail upon your water
Since I was three feet tall
You seen it all, you seen it all
