They had bumpers in front of this pillars. Very similar to these. It literally drove around the bumper. And hit one of the pillars taking out the whole bridge.

That's a long bridge and it all came down. I saw cars driving just before ship hit they wouldn't have made it before it fell. I saw them, they wouldn't have made it. Hope gov isn't hiding this fact
