I played Super C before Contra as a Kid. I thought it was 2 different games. Since it just said...Super C. lol

Super C introduced new elements such as different weapons and more enemies.
The difficulty level is a point of contention, with Contra being harder.

I don't really have a preference. It's almost like picking between the first four levels of a game and the last four levels of the same game. They're equally good.

I love both of them. But if it's cranking up the difficulty and improving the gameplay, I'd go with Super C.

The answer is Super C. My nostalgia wants to say OG Contra, but the better game is Super C, the top down levels are better than the hallways/bases, the music in both games are great, the bosses are better in Super C. Especially the final boss which isnât just a beating heart.
