I have to admit I've always been a fender fan! put last year I was gifted a 72 Les Paul after a friend of mine passed away and I absolutely have a hard time keeping my hands off of it! Hope you're having an awesome day Jonathan and thank you for everything you do!

Yeah, same feeling when I plugged in my Squier Contemporary Telecaster with dual humbuckers into my valve combo, set for a Squier CV 50s Telecaster.

This is how it felt to me too. My first real guitar I owned was a 96’s epiphone les Paul. My pops had some early burst buckers he hated that I popped into it. Turned up my Kay amp and rang a power chord and I was hooked.

still own my 1972 Les paul Deluxe in very good condition and 1964 Fender Black face D. R. no logo. May give them to my 17 year old granddaughter.

Not just the power of les Paul pickups its just the power of humbuckers

I'm recording guitar parts for our new album now. One track just didn't have "it." The sound was good, but not full or something. Broke out the LP Custom and BANG. Done. These guitars have a weight that can't be duplicated (and I still love my Strat, but point stands).

Hi- I had a similar experience also with my first Les Paul and a deluxe reverb! I see the guitar you are holding has mini- humbuckers- is that a Les Paul Custom? It’s a beauty

When I first started playing guitar like 10 years ago I started with a custom les Paul from the 80s. Strange guitar to start with I know but my dad gave it to me and I was spoiled by the sound. The thing is a beast.

People talk about plugging a Les Paul into a Marshall, but I think there is something special sounding about a Les Paul into a Deluxe Reverb.

If y’all knew how pickups work, you’d know that the output of a Gibson Humbucker much higher than that of a Fender single coil. Of course it’s going to be louder and more saturated.
As the saying goes, there’s an ass for every seat.

I put a vintage-noiseless bridge-pickup in my Tele & it has more beef than my Les Paul, and is more articulate.

To be fair, that Les Paul is a 2011 & kind of a dud. Won’t hold tune … weighs 400-pounds. 😂 It’s pretty! “Desert Burst” 60’s neck
