you know. now that i’m thinking about it, MLM brands going into retail stores is actually a good thing. since it diminishes the necessity and the attractiveness of being a rep and being recruited. so this way, they may even stop being MLM companies and start to adopt a less predatory business model. meaning fewer people will be sucked into working for one of them. so i don’t hate this.

Why would you buy from a hun and get pressured into joining her downline when you could go buy it at Ulta, where the most harassing they might do is send you emails, which you can then unsubscribe to? It’s much harder to get rid of a hun.

We been doing some comparative models of Airbnb, business models versus a retail soap manufacturing business, and I was shocked that Airbnb’s don’t make that much money for the amount of overhead they have versus a retail business with proper marketing.

I think it's more that MLM brands are noticing the growing stigma with channels like yours exposing how not-beneficial these business "opportunities" are and consultants across the board are struggling already as consumers are waking up and forming away from MLM purchases. I see a shift coming where MLM companies are going to change their business model away from recruiting and MLM structures.
