Remember, Fromsoft can't do anything with Bloodborne or Demon Souls due to Playstation having exclusive rights over those two IPs. If you want to blame anyone for the lack of Bloodborne content like remasters/sequels/ports then blame Sony as they're the only ones who can do anything with them.

I feel like what Miyazaki meant was that Elden Ring, as a game, is gargantuan. It was a Herculean task by any developers standards to make it even function and the game (to a degree) excelled. However, I think he finds himself wanting the company to work on more games that are less demanding than ER, essentially more smaller, quality games.

Ive grown exhausted from posting the full explanation, tldr Miyazaki said at the end of DS3 that they were done with the Souls Borne era video games for good and were moving on. As you said, they don't "own" the release rights to the IP till they shelve the PS4. Sony has a media monopoly on their exclusives and that's why Demon Souls took so long to be remade. Miyazaki doesnt wanna navigate the political minefield and SONY wants cash cows to milk when youre 40. Its never happening,

A remaster wouldn't be as simple as you think. Bloodborne would have to be remade from the ground up we've already seen plenty of times previously that both from soft and sony don't exactly archive and protect their source code. Though with some people finding out how to rip the game and make a pc emulation there's some hope. That's not exactly the same either but still
