Because money, people buy these games, some abandon the games overtime but some do not. Look at Minecraft, that continues to die but get revived later down the lije. Also, just let people play what they wanna play, if you enjoy TF2 and play it most, that's like completely fine.

The problem is not that its triple A. The problem is that they f up the game because of greed or some other upper management bs. I still play Cyberpunk 2077 or Devil may cry 5 from time to time as an example. (Starbreeze can go to heck for what they done to payday 3 (and 2 for the last few updates) tho.)
