How is ANGKOR WAT (Siem Reap, Cambodia) in 2023? Our humbling experience.

If you are still thinking about when to visit Cambodia Angkor Wat now is the BEST time to visit the Angkor Temple. There are hardly any tourists around.

We visited the temple in the beginning of January 2023. We visited The Bayon, Ta Prohm, and of course amazing Angkor Wat. We had an amazing experience in Cambodia. So don't waste time. Head to Siem Reap today.

Originally we came to Cambodia through land from Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City. We booked our bus tickets in Giant Ibis website, ticket per person costs 40$. Here is their website: www.giantibis.com/.

We bought our tickets on that day at the Ticket Station where our Tuk Tuk Driver, Bon Han, took us. He was very nice and patient. We paid him $20 for the whole day to take us around the temples. Most hotels will charge $25 for the day so make sure you bargain down. You can choose to go for the sunrise in the morning or the sunset in the evening. We recommend the sunrise, because the sunrise comes up over Angkor Wat and the sunset view is just over the park in general. No site of the famous temple.
