Men who work for what they earn and then wield their power well are so so good. A man who gains power and abuses it, no thank you I'm good. That's why I love my hubby, he doesnt need to rule the world. He takes what he earns and is responsible with what he has, and it makes me very secure and happy 😊

How would you describe power, just in a social sense or also in a physical one? The ability to protect with apparently little effort. In the rest of the animal kingdom it seems that there is a correlation between physical and social power. Could power be expressed through intellect too?
Expressions of "power" seem to have morphed, even in our lifetime. A thug with a knife has the "power" to take life just as a commander in chief, just to a smaller scale. Or, a man stripped to the waist with trousers held up by braces, chopping wood is the standard of attraction to others.
Power expressed through capability, scale and intention seem to be a series of considerations. then the question is why do we strive for power? Self-determination, attraction, safety?
For many years I chased wealth and power through business, now it means absolutely zero to me. I would rather build a home than an empire.
Dr Peterson, we need people like you to continue to strive for the epitome, never stop asking the questions!!!

And as Jordan has spoken about other times:
“Research indicates that men’s neuroticism can increase when their female partners earn more than they do. A study published in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin found that men experienced heightened levels of psychological distress when their wives earned more than 40% of the household income.”
“Another study in the Journal of Marriage and Family observed that men whose wives outearned them reported lower levels of self-esteem and higher levels of anxiety. The researchers suggested that deviations from conventional gender roles might challenge men’s self-perception and societal identity, leading to increased neuroticism”

And yet, the struggle against and denial of human nature goes on.
