It’s a little heartbreaking how many people ask me if it’s too late for them to start mobility training or if there’s any hope for them.

Of course there’s hope and of course it’s not too late.

Every single person CAN improve from their current state. No matter your age or current limitations, you can move and feel better. The goal should be progress, not perfection.

Too often people focus on the end goal which can feel distant and unrealistic. It might discourage them from starting, or drive them to quit too soon when all their issues aren’t resolved after a few weeks.

You have to understand that it isn’t going to be easy and it doesn’t happen overnight. But if you actually start the process and commit longterm - you WILL feel so much better…and probably question why you didn’t start sooner.

When I first started mobility training I was 30 years old. I took a big step forward in how I moved and felt every 3 months. After 2 years, I felt like I had a completely new body. Years worth of chronic pain, tightness/stiffness, and injuries were a thing of the past. It was a night and day difference. My only regret - not starting sooner. This is a common regret in my community, but a regret we’re okay with since we now live with far greater quality of life than ever before…because we committed to the process.

You can either take a bad situation and make it worse by not doing anything…OR you can start working towards making a better situation for yourself.

Don’t place too much stress on the end goal. If you put in the work, it will payoff.
