Got started with the Bird Song stamp set I designed for sizzix/49andmarket. Can’t tell you how happy I am to have these little bits of typography and handwriting to add to my backgrounds!

Over the stamps [stamped in archival ink so they don’t bleed] I added some distress paint before collaging on torn bits from the Color Swatch Grove Collage Sheets [also designed for 49andmarket]

Then it was time for a couple of laser cut elements from the Bird Song Collection outlined with a POSCA paint pen, watered down and dabbed with paper towel. Adding a sentiment to finish it up!

STEP-BY-STEP
🔹 stamp type and writing in Archival Ink Seafarer
🔹 added with a palette knife, Distress Paint in Tattered Rose and Bundled Sage
🔹 tore pieces of collage sheets from the Color Swatch Grove Collection and applied with ModgePodge
🔹 added a touch of blue with a @carandache watercolor crayon
🔹 added bird laser cut and outlined with a @posca_usa paint marker, watered down with a paint brush and dabbed with a paper towel
🔹 added a sentiment from the Bird Song Laser Cut Elements

Simple as that!
