I have seen themsomany times. Followed the first 4 lolapaloozas from seattle to san francisco every year. And they got me through some really hard times before i was better at masking my emotions from years of systematic abuse.
Perry ferrell makes you feel the emotion when he sang. When he got clean he lost his edge but luckily he is weird enough to not lose the creativity. 3libras

Hands down my favorite band of all time. Hearing them for the first time back in 1989 via my older step-sister was a pivotal moment in my life.

In the late 80s' I was in Boston & seeing the Pixies, Lemonheads, Galaxie 500, Afghan Wigs, etc. I remember hearing Jane's for the 1st time & being just totally blown away!
And Lollapalooza in 1990 was the culmination of "Alternative rock"

Man they were late 80’s I would see them in Nashville. And nobody was at the shows. They rocked.

Three Days is the most epic song of the 90's. Change my mind.

I believe Alice In Chain Facelift was released the same year & one of the early grunge album that got some mainstream attention pre Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Do an entire video on Jane’s bro 🤘You say catchy and what’s funny is also how they are a band with no chorus’s in their songs and songs are still badass!

I mean, honestly, watching perry ferrell singing in that time was like watching trent reznor or henry rollins at that time. The emotion and rage and rebellion was physical. It was an experience.

said it couldn’t come out in ‘85, but that’s when they formed and then released first album in ‘87.
I remember in the 90’s, so many people thought Nothing’s Shocking was their first album that I started calling the self-titled one their first first album lol
