Damn, I actually really liked this album. I always loved when artists did 50âs-60âs throwback with slicker production. Amy Winehouse and Orville Peck are/were probably the best examples. While Sanchez is no Winehouse or Peck, I do think he has enough charisma vocally to pull off a decent Frankie Valli. And the melodies are super catchy and hooky throughout.

stephen tries to do too much with the talent that he has. the song âHighâ features stephen trying to do his best pop impression, almost sounding like something the lumineers and imagine dragons would collab to make. just not his style in my opinion. also, with the song âDoesnât Do Me Any Goodâ, he also tries to do a blues-style track that really doesnât suite his voice.
but thereâs some greatness in this as well. âsomething about herâ and âuntil i found youâ are sweet love ballads that are very soothing. âOnly Girlâ is a pop rock track that glistens with energy. âShakeâ is a classic rock nâ roll track that follows the cookie cutter formula of a 60s style tune, but still sounds great. âI Need You Most Of Allâ is a groovy beach boys style track. a lot of good on the album.
overall, itâs a solid album, but thereâs some misses on this as well.
