Sir I have a question
Using the standard electrode potentials predict whether if the reaction between the following is feasible
1) Fe³+ and I-
2,) Ag+ & Cu
3)Fe3+& Cu
4)Ag & Fe³+
5) Br2 & Fe ²+

Sir I will be very grateful if you answer😀

Ok so heres what confuses me. Oxidation is when it loses an electron, yet it goes from eg. Na to Na+. That is an oxidation, but how can it lose an electron when it gains that "+". To me it doesnt make sense to "lose" when you "gain" something.
