This is an amazing video. I’ve seen another documentary on Prime where they showed a different hunt where there was no snow, but the polar bear sneaked up from below the mountain. It used a rocky outcrop it regularly used as a cover, and pounced on a reindeer that had strayed close.
This is a better video, in the sense that the polar bear had to work so much harder. 🥲 fascinating, how animals adapt when their regular prey becomes harder to hunt due to dwindling sea ice.
