You always hear the adage about how music can soothe the savage soul, but it can also heal a tormented soul, a sorrowful soul, a broken soul, and the list goes on. I find it inspiring that even in the darkness, you were able to hear God reach out to you. So many people get stuck in that darkness, and they become so overwhelmed with the voices of negativity and depression and fear and hatred. It gets to a point that anything and everything else drowns out the voice of our most loving God.
