My Dad, who was an intellectual guy", used to tell me, when I was a small girl living in Asia, I think in the 1960's
he traveled a lot for his job! My Mom( came from a well to do family of a Chinese grandmother! the street is even named after them:), a famous brother who was a surgeon, &a loaded sister!married to a dentist) used to fetch him to the airport. In those days flying was only for the lucky few, it was considered"too luxurious, flamboyant, only for the rich".I look up to my Dad as if he was the President of another country!
