I am fairly new to Worship Artistry content. I really like the perspective you guys have on the last couple things I have watched. I value excellence and artistry but struggle with time to truly lean in to artistry side, both personally and with my team. We have dabbled in tracks to create a “bigger” sound but usually just play to a click. I feel like we make a decent cover band, but I am wondering what the trade offs and benefits to trying to become more artistic in our worship vs using a proven copy cat approach.

I disagree. I think the “cost” is only when worship pastors don’t lead their teams into worship but rather just in learning songs. If there’s a track or not it doesn’t matter. We worship in Spirit and in Truth.

it doesn't has to sound like the recording. Most people there even know what the original sounds like
