Orthodox Christians fast for 40-55 days and in that time we also fast during ramamdan but not how muslims do it and we do not go around telling people we're fasting so they feel bad abt us

Firstly, fasting isnāt meant to be something thatās done so boastfully and noted.
Thereās a purpose for it, and that purpose isnāt to let your neighbours know youāre doing it.
Itās not a competition and youāre not looking for sympathy of anything kind.
Second, youāre not to conform to culture in order to āsupportā one, as that too is against Christianity.
You donāt need to join in or partake to āsupportā
Itās not obvious this generation has lost the entire meaning of the word āsupportā and confused it with blindly following for anything.
Muslims will not be partaking or joining in on Christian traditions and rituals, nor will Buddhists, and they have that exact same reason for not partaking in it.
They give you the right to practice and believe as you will, but thatās not their religion to be had.
It should go the same for Christianity.
If your idea of āsupportā is to do what the person you want to āsupportā is doing, youāll end up in such a mess and it will become difficult to unravel the web of lies that once wasnāt there.
It also seems as if youāre infantilizing Muslims by partaking because youāve some feeling of them being āuncomfortableā with fasting for a longer period of time.
Truly, respecting someoneās practice is not joining in on it.
Thatās for your own selfish gain, not the mutual respect you think itās to be.

Month of Ramadan is not only in fasting but also embrace our human qualities. To keep your inner saitan in control from bad practices, This is a Holy Month and as a Muslim this is a month of practicing Purity. I request ypu guys pls study Islam and its Peqce and Harmony. The biggest Genocide in History not done by Muslims for sure.

Christian fasting is to be done in secret, not to be announced to everyone and is not dry fasting, which involves consuming more food after sundown than is consumed at any other time if year. It is conformity to the culture. Christians should be distinctive.
