The boarding school I went to in Teignmouth Devon UK. Was a beautiful building. Oak panel walls & doors. Beautiful leaded stained glass windows. A MASSIVE old style kitchen with a massive cast iron stove. That worked perfectly & was still used daily. Every morning the smell of fresh home made bread wafted upstairs to the dorms. It got us then kids racing downstairs hoping to get the crust end with freshly made salted butter. It was yummy. Even the school grounds were stunning. An fruit orchard with apples, pears, apricots, damsons ect. Being a costal town fresh fish ect was delivered almost daily too. Along with donated cakes from a bakery in Shaldon. We were spoiled for choice. We had 2 massive vegetable gardens. Aswell a 3 tiered fomal gardens. Its been converted into apartment now sadly.
