I used to drive a rear steer sweeper truck. Certainly allows for some interesting maneuvering. Sometimes good sometimes not so much. On a side note… boats are rear steer

Steering in the rear is dangerous at highway speeds. You will flip unless you are a super experienced driver. GMC trucks I trounced the idea a while ago and the "REAR STEERING" was so minimal at highway speeds for safety reasons.

weight transfer and stability is why steering is in the front

They try to keep to a level of scale realism. I have an Ax24 that is not to any scale really but fun to drive inside especially this time of year.

I guess you have never driven a forklift truck at high speed.

I believe that if it was a good idea or better mechanically to use on a vehicle in the last 100 years, the engineers who are smarter than me would have done it already.

Could you imagine a high way full of people driving rear steer cars lol!! That would be suicide

There is actually a correct answer this question

Theres more weight in the front meaning steering will be more affective due to gravity
