Ah the old 'oh you're home then' look. I can relate. In the past, when I've been away, one of my rabbits will get up and walk away in a huff. They do not forgive as quickly as Sweet Pea 😂😂

Ohhhhh the CHILL in the air. The head tilting away😅. And the walk away, her back to you. Classic tiny tantrum voice thru actions, bless her heart.
I have an 18 yr old cat who hates to be held. She'lll sleep halfway on my leg but pick her up while even sitting down is a big no. Shes also starting to have seizures. When they happen I scoop her up & we go to the quietest, darkest place in the house until they stop. Recovery after, changes. One part is I want her to sense I'm right there for her but then to access her state. A front leg had stiffened across her chest. We came back out to the living room so I could see if it relaxed. [It did]. But I WAS HOLDING HER. She didn't care she just had a violent seizure, she was soaked, foggy and couldn't think right away. No, she felt I WAS HOLDING HER.
She did not talk to me for 2 days. TWO. She slept in her box with her back turned to me. Typically she prefers me holding her food bowl. She will walk over her food to come find me, meow meow until I walk back with her to hold her bowl. It's nuts. This time? She ate from her dining area again with her BACK TO ME.
I've had 55 years of cats. No one could ever tell me they don't feel, have compassion, HAVE OPINIONS, get MAD or happy, miss us when were gone but then yell at us that we were gone😂. [In their own way].
Sweet Pea clearly MADE HER POINT😅. Of course she loves you. She just had to make her point. >>>Lucky you it didn't last long.

My Chihuahua does the SAME THING when we return from being out for anytime over 10-15 minutes! She turns her head to the side and will take a kiss but will not return it until we apologize! 😘😘
