Super impressed by you, young man. Just a tip from an old logger: get a pair of good chainsaw chaps, and a hard hat. Especially out that far alone, you need safety equipment. Also having a first aid kit with a tourniquet or 2 attached to your belt is always a good idea.

hey it's ak1 again 1st the offer of a wood stove is solid 2nd I know your putting in a pad. and parking but any stump you can leave. the taller the better too pull on tops to get roots and all or for a excavator to pull them out or wait a few years and you can push n snap

I'd go as deep and narrow as you can on your driveway with a curve or elbow for privacy in the long run so you're not visible from the road... You can always find someone to plow your drive or get a snowblower.

Very cool. Don’t underestimate the value of protective eye wear and work gloves when you’re clearing brush. A spec of dust in your eye could become a huge problem when you are far from medical care. Make sure you take as good care of your body as you do your soul out there. Best wishes to you.
