I still own one. There is a major design flaw in the dual analog. On the dualshock, the sticks clip onto a flathead style protrusion on the internals so that the sticks cannot rotate, whereas on the dual analog, the sticks are wedged onto a pin like protrusion. This means over time the sticks rotate, making games unplayable. You have to super glue them.

Rare? Those were the only controllers me and my friends had back in the day. I remember thinking how weird it was that they switched away from the indented sticks because your thumbs fit so nicely into the dent.
Edit: Thinking back it may have been a regional thing. Like maybe that’s just all we could get where I was because all the regular controllers were going to the main U.S. markets.

I had this controller as a kid, but I used to think it was a “fake” DualShock since the packaging said Dual Analog.
