Questa catena montuosa occupa quasi tutta la parte sud della prefettura di Heraklion dando alla zona una conformazione molto particolare e di difficile accesso tra gole profonde e montagne a picco sul mare. Tra i vari villaggi abbiamo visitato Tsoutsouros e percorso il sentiero verso Maridaki e ritorno. È stata per noi una bellissima esperienza. This mountain range occupies almost the entire southern part of the prefecture of Heraklion giving the area a very particular conformation and difficult to access between deep gorges and mountains overlooking the sea. In between villages we visited Tsoutsouros and walked the trail to Maridaki and back. It was a wonderful experience for us.
