This funny crooked grand fir limb had been sitting around for a while so I decided to cut into it and see what was inside today and boy was I surprised by how beautiful it was.

I got two nice thick beautiful slabs out of it and the grand fir smells so wonderful when you’re cutting it and I absolutely love the creamy color it takes on after drying a bit. I’m glad I’ve been milling up this “pulp” species of tree. excited to make some stuff with it.
