Haven't seen one of those since I was a little kid. We were swimming at Mirror lake very early in the morning and had been out on the big rock and had come back to shore. One tough critter. Like a badger. Nocturnal normally. Acute senses and elusive. Your light probably confused his night vision. Startled. Good catch!! ππ±ββοΈ
