For those of us just starting in the drone instruments, how hard is it to play the Shruti without the pedal? I saw the price of the pedal, and it's far too expensive for me to pick up, if I can play with me legs/feets.
I play the native cedar wood flute. I'm looking at buying Shruti in the key of C (it's easier to sing in that key).
