Massive Floyd fan with 22 albums (some bootlegs in there) and I’ve never listened to this one in 10 years.
Gilmour excoriated The Final Cut as ‘songs not good enough for The Wall’ so I skipped this album on his sage advice.

Nothing was Pink Floyd after Roger left. The sound was terrible. The lyrics were crap. The artistic creation was gone. If David Gilmour didn’t keep the name they would have never sold an album. It was terrible.

i remember in 2015 when i was studying in the campus. i gave it a listen full album. mostly ambient songs with the one and only "louder than words" which is featured Gilmour's vocals and Polly samson Lyrics + 3 Bonus Tracks for deluxe edition version. enjoyable enough, not bad album, good for healing. the album was one of my most memorable album in my life back in 2014.
