That’s great information. I’ve been working a lemon tree from seed for about 5 years now and the leaves are just beginning to shrink to a small size but the root stock is swelling nicely. WhAaaaat! No way thats so cool will be a great looking tree. You just can't get that kind of raw movement by wiring. I think forsythia does this too.

I got a young cercis siliquastrum bonsai. It has 3 leaves and is pretty small. Its starting to get some purple spots on the leaves. Is that a fungi infection?

Oh no, don't tell me that! I already have trouble throwing away the branches I prune. I have to plant them as cuttings. I'm running out of space, and this video will now just speed things up😫
